On Saturday, April 12, a wonderful Ohio Academy of History Conference at Kent State University was capped off with Cleaning Up the Bomb Factory: Grassroots Activism and Nuclear Waste in the Midwest winning the 2025 Junior Scholar Publication Award. I am so grateful to receive this honor from a community of historians I deeply admire and want to thank the incredible Weyerhaeuser Environmental Books/University of Washington Press team who helped my book reach its potential!
