Casey presented on his forthcoming book Cleaning Up the Bomb Factory: Grassroots Activism and Nuclear Waste in the Midwest (University of Washington, 2024) at the Ohio Academy of History conference. Hosted by The Ohio State University, the event was highlighted by many fascinating presentations, including an inspiring Presidential Lecture by Dr. Daniel Rivers on twentieth century LGBT history and the challenging, but essential work of queer oral history, and Dr. John Brooke's Distinguished Historian Lecture on "Historians and the Challenges of the Anthropocene."
